Following a competitive tender process mtc were delighted to have been awarded the contract to develop the Care Inspectorate website. The Care Inspectorate identified the need for future development of its website and are were looking for a digital partner to bring proactive ideas and innovative solutions forward.
mtc put forward a detailed proposal with a clear roadmap for the new website, outlining a proactive approach to innovation and suggested improvements and enhancements to for the website. We are delighted to announce that the first phase of this work has gone live having completed a UX Review highlighted a number of recommendations to improve the site.
The website has had a full re-design with particular attention paid to a number of key mobile journeys. The new design was deployed onto the existing Joomla CMS framework, a system which mtc has vast experience of and a proven track record. Daniel McCabe the Project Manager for the project was quoted:
A lot of analytical research and collaboration between different areas of the Care Inspectorate team and mtc has allowed us to launch a new look/feel that encompasses the main focuses of the website.

The new website gives key insight to those who are looking for information about service provision, while retaining key information for professionals. We’re excited to be working on Phase 2.
