The Institute of Conservation (ICON) work to raise awareness of the cultural, social and economic value of caring for heritage. As a professional body for conservators, ICON currently represents around 2,500 individuals and organisations.
ICON is uniquely positioned within the sector thanks to their professional accreditation framework which is recognised worldwide. The Conservation Register is primarily used as a tool to seek out suitable Accredited Conservator-Restorers (ACRs) from a vast range of conservation specialisms.
The previous site interface was unfortunately outmoded by modern standards, making it difficult for users to identify
suitable conservators. We used our extensive experience working with database projects where users can self-manage their content to deliver a world class solution.
We incorporated the latest web technologies and user interface design to advance the Conservation Register. The new design is inviting, open and accessible – encouraging users to discover more about ICON, apply for accreditation and create a listing.
We are delighted to have worked together with ICON on this exciting project and are looking forward to working together on future projects. Visit the ICON Conservation Register to find out more.
