When The Herald got in-touch with mtc. and discussed the possibility of becoming digital partners through sponsorship of the category of ‘Best Online Newcomer’ at this year’s Herald Fashion Awards, it seemed the natural thing to do.
Having delivered bespoke eCommerce solutions for both Bluechip companies and some of the UK’s top independent retailers for over the past ten years, mtc. are delighted to celebrate the success of online platforms within Scotland’s fashion industry.

Having implemented their custom-built eCommerce solution into their ever-expanding range of eCommerce clients websites, the focus has been always on delivering ROI to the client whilst giving the customer great user experience.

The judges are on the lookout for the top digital businesses that are doing something special, creating the buzz that makes them have competitive edge. The judging panel consists of Eva Arrighi - The Herald, Sheri Scott - Director of Betty & Bee and blogger at Forever Yours Betty, Stewart Bryden – Photographer, Marion White – Director of Fatbuzz, Dr Jen Ballie – Research fellow at the University of Dundee, Dr. Alex McCluskey – Glasgow Clyde College, Maurice Golden – Zero Waste Scotland and finally David Breckenridge – Scottish Textile & Leather Association.
The full list of categories for this year’s Herald Online Fashion Awards have been announced with retailers, bloggers and Fashionistas all in with a chance of picking up an award on the night.
