When we heard Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) needed a new website, we were more than happy to fly in and deliver it, donating a site in tribute to their status as the only air ambulance in Scotland funded entirely through donations. At the time of writing, SCAA have flown over 16000 miles and attended 186 time-critical emergencies since they launched in May 2013, which has seen them travel to every corner of Scotland.
Their worth is easy to see when you find out that they can get as far as Wick, the Isle of Skye or Stranraer in around an hour from their base at Scone Airfield. This was something we were keen to highlight on the website and you can see up to date stats as well as take a virtual tour of the helicopter and more on the website.
We were stunned and delighted when SCAA chief executive Gavin Davey informed us that we were the newest addition to the livery on their Bolkow 105 helicopter.
When discussing SCAA’s new website Gavin Davey had wonderful words to say.
“A website is essential in the 21st century, and the young and vibrant team at mtc have gifted SCAA a dynamic and exciting website which will help get our message across to a wider public and encourage them to raise funds or get involved in supporting us to help those most in need.”
Thanks to the team at SCAA for being fantastic to work with, as well as saving lives every day. It is an honour to be displayed on a helicopter which will soon break 200 missions. Onwards and upwards!
